The kick-off event of the Tunisian Information Point took place in Tunis, Tunisia on April 5, 2005. It was a big success, as shown by the high number of participants (about 250) and by the special interest demonstrated by the local press and radio. The opening speech was given by the Tunisian Minister of Scientific Research, Technology and Development of the Competences, Prof. Sadok Korbi. On the following day, a workshop was organized at the same premises (Hotel Abou Nawas), offering a wide range of information about the FP6, its instruments and cost models, about the preparation and submission of proposals and about CORDIS and open calls. After the presentations, a lively and fruitful discussion followed with a lot of participants.
